Free Community Concert Series!





KDFC is proud to support the Community School of Music and Arts and the complete 2014 Community Concert Series. All concerts are free and open to the public. Events are held at Tateuchi Hall at the Community School of Music and Arts, located at 230 San Antonio Circle in Mountain View. The 2014 Community Concert series will also feature a broad array of performances for the entire family. Violinist Jennifer Koh is renowned for her virtuosity and commanding performances. She has performed her Bach and Beyond series, exploring solo violin repertoire from Bach to the present day, at prestigious venues around the world. Join us for an evening of conversation and musical excerpts with this astonishing musician!

San Francisco's premiere Chinese ensemble, Melody of China presents an afternoon of traditional and contemporary selections showcasing the instruments and melodies from the different ethnic regions of China, including the world premiere of Coexistent Beauty, a new work by composer Yuanlin Chen.
Wednesday, November 20, 7:00pm
Take a musical trip around the world with this quintet as they present an eclectic program of classics, light classics, and arrangements of popular music from different countries. Featuring Dane Carlson, David Latulippe, Sue Macy, Brian Holmes and Juliet Hamak of the Peninsula Symphony Winds.
