It’s one of the hardest songs to sing, but if you’ve got it, flaunt it! The KDFC Star Spangled Sing-off is coming back!

September 21st at Oracle Park, the San Francisco Opera’s free Opera at the Ballpark simulcast begins with someone singing the national anthem from the pitcher’s mound and it could be you!

Get your audition video ready to upload, because we’ll begin accepting submissions on July 22nd. After that, KDFC listeners will help pick the winner.

We’re excited to announce the return of Opera at the Ballpark on Saturday, September 21, 7:30pm! Join us for a FREE simulcast of Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet, transmitted in high definition live from the stage of the War Memorial Opera House to Oracle Park. Our very own Dianne Nicolini will emcee live from the broadcast booth! Join us as KDFC’s Star-Spangled Sing-Off winner sings the National Anthem and Tammy Nelson from “Beach Blanket Babylon” leads the crowd in “Take Me Out to the Opera.” You’ll also enjoy a behind the scenes peek backstage during intermission, Romeo and Juliet trivia, and more.
