SF Opera celebrates their own Summer of Love with three mega hits: Rigoletto, Don Giovanni, and La Boheme.

San Francisco Opera’s Free Simulcast at AT&T Park
June 30

Experience a live performance of Mozart’s Don Giovanni on the big screen at the home of the SF Giants. The evening begins with KDFC’s Star Spangled Sing-Off winner singing the national anthem. Hosted by Hoyt Smith and Dianne Nicolini.

Oakland Symphony Independence Eve Celebration
July 3

Free pops concert with conductor Michael Morgan and the Oakland Symphony at the cavernous Craneway Pavilion on the Richmond waterfront. Fireworks included!

San Francisco Symphony
July 4-29

The SF Symphony kicks off their summer offerings with the annual 4th of July concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater, complete with fireworks. More summer favorites follow.

Stern Grove Festival
June 25-August 27

American Bach Soloists Festival & Academy

Helmed by KDFC’s own Jeffrey Thomas, this summer’s ABS Festival focuses on “English Majesty”. Various venues in SF.

Music in the Vineyards
August 4-27
Chamber music in evocative winery settings in the Napa Valley. Each ticket includes a glass of wine at intermission.

West Edge Opera
August 5-20
“Departures from the ordinary” is their motto and this year there’s even a departure from their unique West Oakland train station venue. The new venue is TBA, but in the meantime, get ready for edgy productions of Hamlet, The Chastity Tree, and Frankenstein.
