Join Classical California KDFC at SF Music Day 2025!

Join Classical California KDFC as we celebrate the 18th edition of SF Music Day, a full day of live performances honoring the depth and diversity of the Bay Area’s music scene. This year’s festival, themed Deeply Rooted, brings together more than 85 artists and 20 ensembles for six hours of music across genres — from chamber and jazz to hip-hop, experimental, and world traditions.
KDFC is proud to be part of this beloved community event, connecting families, artists, and audiences through music that reflects the creative spirit of our region.

Experience the Classical California KDFC Listening Experience
Classical California KDFC introduces The Classical California Listening Experience — a family-friendly, listening experience in the Herbst Theatre lobby. With rotating playlists every 20 minutes, children and adults alike can enjoy a musical “silent disco” through headphones, alongside hands-on creative activities like coloring and puzzles.
It’s an inviting space for families to explore, listen, and celebrate the joy of music together.
