Whether you’re celebrating a special day, or just in the mood to hear something special, make a request, tell us when you want to hear it and why.

Is there a piece of music you can’t wait to hear again? Are you celebrating an occasion, or could you just use a favorite that helps you escape the pressures of the day? Please share your request with us and you could have that piece heard on KDFC.

Please note: Due to the volume of requests, unfortunately, we won’t be able to let you know when your request will be played.

Here are some examples:

Mary in Palo Alto is a student in high school who hears her little brother practicing the Moonlight Sonata and wants to have him hear it on the radio for his birthday.

Jim in San Anselmo is retiring from a software company next month and wants to hear a send-off piece…The 1812 Overture.

Betsy and Dan are celebrating are celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary at home with some bubbly and classical on the 17th. They would like to hear Saint-Saens Wedding Cake Caprice-Waltz on the way into work.

Carol in Santa Clara wants to share Vaughan Williams Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis with her co-workers.

Dean is a history teacher in Danville who plays KDFC for his students and wants them to hear something from the Renaissance.

Tell us your favorite, and it could end up being played on the radio.

Keep in mind we get hundreds of requests, and can only play a few, but we always enjoy hearing what you like to hear! If your request is for an upcoming event, please try to send in your request at least two weeks before the event.
