On September 4th, we took you behind the scenes and into the seats of Davies Symphony Hall LIVE for the San Francisco Symphony’s Opening Night Gala, celebrating MTT’s 25th and final year as the San Francisco Symphony’s Music Director. KDFC’s Dianne Nicolini and Rik Malone brought you the play-by-play as MTT, the Symphony, Symphony Chorus, and very special guests performed music by Copland, Glinka, Britten, and the greatest party tune ever written, Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”.

In case you missed it – or want to relive the magic – we’re bringing it to you here on KDFC.com on demand!
