Jennifer Miller, the new KDFC Morning Show Host

From KDFC President, Bill Lueth:

I’m happy to announce an exciting change to the KDFC radio schedule. Beginning Monday, November 11, Jennifer Miller will take on her new role as the host of the Morning Show on KDFC, weekdays from 6 to 10 AM. If you’re up early, you’re already familiar with Jennifer as host of California Classical All-Night. With Hoyt Smith quietly slipping back into semi-retirement (read on), Jennifer’s moving out of the darkness to join you in welcoming the sun. Get your day started with Jennifer as she brings you lots of great classical music–and some classical fun–on the Off to School Request (now at 7:15), The Blind Date Mystery in History at 8:30, and Mozart in the Morning to kick off the workday at 9. Plus at 7:45 she’ll help perk up your brain with the Classical Commuter Quiz.

Since joining KDFC about a year ago, fellow staff have come to know she is a joy to work with, and we suspect you’ll find her a joy to listen to. Jennifer will be a refreshing change and delightful addition to KDFC mornings. Read more about Jennifer here.

As for Hoyt, we are grateful to him for stepping back in after Ray White’s departure. While Hoyt will be leaving mornings Monday – Friday, we’re happy to say he’s sticking around to host Saturday mornings starting at 7 AM, and he’ll occasionally pop up at various times during the week to help give the other announcers a vacation.

Please join me in welcoming Jennifer Miller to the new KDFC Morning Show!
