In a powerful gesture of solidarity and compassion, the San Francisco Symphony and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music came together for a moving benefit concert in support of those affected by the devastating fires in Los Angeles. Under the inspired direction of Edwin Outwater, this unforgettable evening united the talents of the San Francisco Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, and the Conservatory Orchestra, with the renowned pianist Garrick Ohlsson gracing the stage. Together, they offered a stirring program featuring the timeless beauty of Copland, the soulfulness of Rachmaninoff, and the heartfelt melodies of Dvořák. This concert was more than music—it was a message of hope, healing, and unity.
