“Black Tie Meets Black Leather.” Thus reads the headline of an article in today’s SF Chronicle announcing the first concert to be held this Fall at the brand new Chase Center in Mission Bay. In addition to being the future home of the Golden State Warriors, the Chase will also host other events including concerts. The first one will see a collaboration between the Bay Area’s hometown rockers, Metallica, and the San Francisco Symphony. This isn’t the first time that Metallica and the Symphony have teamed up. It’s a mutual fan club for MTT and Metallica’s Lars Ulrich! They were both on hand today for the announcement, along with SF Mayor London Breed and other VIP’s. Read all about it.
