As we approach the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation, Lara contemplates the power of American music to express the ideals at the heart of our country’s promise: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Lara shares a sneak peek at the music and stories behind her DECLARATION project, with a program that spans 250 years of American history through music. Classical California – San Francisco President Bill Lueth will join her for a conversation about the music she will play.
SKY Concerts are our exclusive, rare, intimate experiences with very limited seating, held high above San Francisco in the beautiful 11th-floor recital hall of the Bowes Center, home of KDFC.
